After months of standing about in my studio, Porcus Aurelius, my life-size copper wire pig, has gone off to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. He will cheerfully greet customers at Matt’s Big Breakfast. He consumed over 1000 feet of 16 gauge copper wire.
Wobbleworks, Inc., creators of the 3Doodler, asked me to use their 3D printing pen to make 50 small sculptures for some of their Kickstarter backers. The Christopher Young Studio commissioned me to make 25 wire birds for Harry Winston’s (“Jeweler to the Stars”) holiday windows. Now the lucky birds are donning fabulous jewelry on three continents!
